Coptic Aid Foundation: Our Policy
A charitable organization, recognized by the Canadian Federal and Provincial Governments and Authorities.
OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE IN EGYPT
Rev. Fr. Mikhail Sobhi, St-Mikhael Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt, Koufour, Tanta.
With the help of God and working with other foundations, we can eliminate poverty among the Coptic Community in Egypt.
All members of the Board of Directors are volunteer workers and receive neither salary nor compensation for their services.
Financial aid must be disbursed at the beginning of each month. All sponsored families will continue to receive their monthly aid even if the sponsor is late on payment or stopped sending his donations completely. Workers are required to visit our recipients and offer them love, and compassion and try to help them with their urgent needs. They must send an annual update for each recipient. The C.A.F. publishes a news bulletin for its members. Books and accounts are verified by a reputed Chartered Accountant (C.A.) Annual receipts are sent to sponsor members for tax exemption.
2500 needy families from 48 regions receive monthly aid in addition to hundreds of students and small projects
